The Montessori Country Day experience is best described as fun! The internationally acclaimed Montessori Method proves that each child's work is truly play. Our low student to teacher ratio allows our teachers to always be ready to support, comfort, guide, teach, challenge, and to love.

Each classroom environment is carefully prepared with materials that interest the children at their specific level of development and includes practical life skills, sensorial materials, language, math, science, geography, art, music, dramatic play, gardening and more.
MCD accepts children 15 months through 6 years old during the school year.
We operate Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
Children may attend 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week with the following scheduling options:

Summer
Our summer camp accepts children 15 months to 8 years of age. Many of our school alumni return during the summer to enjoy the fun-filled activities. The children enjoy riding bikes, playing in the sprinklers and visiting with interesting guests. We typically invite firefighters, police officers, kindergarten teachers, dance and gym instructors to add to our summer fun. Teachers choose fun and interesting themes each week to aid the children's development. Favorite authors, careers, the solar system, and the sea are a few of the topics we have enjoyed during summer camp. An essential part of Early Education is free play and the outdoors with plenty of art, crafts, games, cooking, picnics and more to help round out the summer day for our campers.
